Of the Senate, at the first session of the tenth General Assembly, of the State of Missouri, egun and held at the City of Jefferson, on the third Monday, being the nineteenth day of November, in the year of or Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight.

The Senate was called to order by Franklin Cannon, Lieutenant Governor of the State of Missouri, and President of the Senate.

From the twenty-sixth senatorial district. - Smallwood V. Noland. A quorum being present William M. Campbell was requested to act as Secretary pro tempore.

Messrs. Jones of Pike, Watts, Conger, Gentry, Sterigere, Maupin, Hyatt, Grimsley, Darby, Noland, Penn, Danforth, Monroe, Miller, Hunter, Ashby, Pratt, Thompson, Gilliam, Morin, Alford, Gorham, and Scott, severally presen ted their credentials, were qualified and took their seats.
